Statement of Faith
The sixty-six books of both the Old and New Testaments comprise the inspired Word of God and are without error in the original writings. The Bible is God's complete written revelation for the salvation of man and is the final authority regarding Christian life and faith.
There is one uncreated eternal triune God (the Godhead), eternally existent in three persons, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (commonly referred to as The Trinity)
Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh, was born of a virgin, led a sinless life, died on the cross and rose again on the third day. Because He ever lives, He alone is our line to God the Father--none may go to the father except through Jesus.
All mankind is born into sin. This condition makes it impossible to earn his salvation through good works. Good works however, are a by-product of saving faith, not a pre-requisite for salvation.
Mankind is saved by grace through faith alone in Jesus Christ. There is no other intercessor. Believers are justified by His shed blood and shall be saved from eternal damnation and wrath from God through Him.
Christ's Church is made up of individuals who have recognized their lost state and placed their trust in the redeeming work of Christ for their salvation who continuously edify and uplift one another.
Jesus Christ will return again for His flock. All true believers will reign with Him throughout eternity.
There will be a bodily resurrection of both the just and the unjust; the just to everlasting life, the unjust will be cast into the lake of fire.
We should love the sinner and hate the sin while guiding him or her away from a sinful lifestyle. The choice to continuously live in the sin, however, is not acceptable. The very definition of Holiness means set apart. Living in the world and being of the world are not in Line with God's plan for us.
We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and that the evidence of being filled by the Holy Spirit is manifested in the speaking of tongues as the Spirit gives us utterance. Acts 2:4, Romans 8:26+27, I Corinthians 14:2+4+14+15-17
